Annie's Real Aged Cheddar Microwave Cup Review

So if you recall I received the Annie's Real Aged Cheddar Microwave Mac and Cheese in my #MamaVoxBox. I was so excited to try this. The product had a lot of great ingredients and it sounded SOOO tasty. This company has a variety of different Organic products offered to the consumer. From pizzas, to pastas, to snacks to dressings and a lot more! I've been checking out the Annie's Site looking at all the different things I would love to try. Just might look for them! Back to the review (teehee, I tend to ramble) Here is what the product looks like:

This stuff has so much potential! I read the directions, filled cup to line and stirred. The white powdery stuff, like in all micro macs, didn't want to really mix. It just stayed clumpy but I kept stirring. I cooked on high for 2 minutes. The noodles weren't even cooked. I had to cook longer. All micros are different and mine is digital but it's probably 10 or so years old. When it came out it had this gel consistency. Was a turn off but I went on and added the powdered mix. I wish it was a cream/liquid like Velveeta but not everything can be Velveeta. ;) I stirred and stirred. Took several minutes to get it mixed in where there were no clumps. I tasted it hot. Not really to my liking. *This is my opinion* When I read Real Aged Cheddar I expected a more tangy cheddar taste. It is good DO NOT get me wrong, just met a little under my expectations. I cooked it for my daughter anyways, I gave it to her and she LOVED it. So it's 4 year old approved! If I were eating it I would add some tuna probably to give it a little more flavor. I would and will recommend this to anyone who asks. This is a quick on the go snack/meal. You could probably even take it camping or put in a emergency kit. I know it says to microwave but I think if you were able to boil water. ( A pot, water and a fire source) you should be able to make this. Just pour the boiling water in the bowl and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Here are some pictures of after it was cooked. You can kind of see the stringy-ness.

I hope ya'll enjoyed my review! I'm still new to this but I think I have found my new hobby! Blogging. I love this too much. Thx!!!

* I was sent this product from Influenster for testing purposes only, I am not being paid to review this*
