*FALL WARDROBE UPDATE*

You all will learn that I love thrift shopping. It is one of my many many hobbies. I recently did a closet clean out where I pulled out all of the clothing I did not wear. I sorted them into piles labeled, Donate and Keep but put away. The latter category is clothing that I find I just can not get rid of. Like Highschool Senior shirts, shirts that I made, shirts that just have an awesome saying on the front etc. I do not want to wear them but I do not have room in our closet to keep them. We just have one of those shallow inset closets. Not a walk in. So we have 2 bars in it, the top is mine and the bottom is his. So yeah we have about 5 foot each maybe 6 ft. We still had clothes from High School....we are in our 30s!!!! So yeah major clean out. Getting back to topic on hand. I had never bought clothing from thrift stores before, aside for some for my monkey, for us. I was surprised at some of the prices, high and low. I had my mind set on a price per article of clothing. Pants/Jeans $10, Shirts $10, Jackets $20, Shoes $10. I know that seems like a lot and I will probably lower those prices later. I do not factor in brand name. I do not care the brand name. If I like it them I like it. No one will be looking at my tag to see what it says nor would I care if they did. If it doesn't have a tag then the brand name shouldn't matter. It's used. So here we go. These came from 2 different stores - Goodwill and my favorite local thrift store Just Like New.

Goodwill:

Here are some long sleeves that I picked up. The 2 on the left are thermal. Pink and Blue. Both from Magellan Sportswear. $4.99 each. The Gray one is Investments II it was $7, The mauve one is from Sonoma it was $3

These two sweaters were actually picked up at two different Goodwills. The brand is No boundaries and they were $5.29 They are sooooo soft. I found the pink one first and fell in love with the feel so when I found the blue one at another goodwill I snatched it up.

If ya'll notice the sizes they are on the large side. I wear a L/XL depending on the make of the shirt, sometimes I can wear a M. But when I buy fall/winter wear I buy 2-4 sizes bigger because I layer alot. Plus I am 6 ft. So I sometimes have to get bigger sizes to make them long enough. If they are misfitted in any way but the length is great I will just pin and sew them where I need them. :) Carrying on.

The print on this threw me off for a bit but I noticed that back and I had to have it. Brand is FANG. It was $4

This shirt is actually Blue. Like a great awesome blue color. Not the green that it is showing up on here. This was JUST under my budget. That collar won me over. I paid $9.99 this is the only piece that had an original price tag. It's by Westbound Woman...see that 3X  it fits like a XL on me. I hate that sizing is so different between brands.

CARDIGANS! I love them. If I could have one in every color I would. The Blue one is Investments II it was $5 the Orange one is Hampshire Studios it was $7 and the green one is Coldwater Creek it was $7. The blue and green are really really light, great for Fall. The Burnt Orange one is very heavy.

This one is from White Stag. It was soooo soft. I had to have it. I paid $2.99

I have never heard of hardly any of these brands.

This one is from Croft & Barrows. It has like a medium weight if that makes since. It's not to heavy or light. It was $1.99

Isn't this jacket AMAZING!!! It is very bright and very busy but pair it with a solid shirt and you are good to go. I fell in love with it when I saw it. LIKE IN LOVE. It fits perfect. It is from Coldwater Creek. I paid $7.00!!!!!!!

Another example of size differences. This Cato Brand Orange shirt is an XL but it fits like a 3X on me. Oh how I love it though. I can put a cami under it and still have plenty of room. It was $4

Another wonderful lightweight cardigan. It's from Old Navy. I paid $1.99

See I loved this in the store. When I got it home I realized that someone had altered it to fit closer in the waist. So the Size on it (XL) was not true to size. So before I can wear this I have to un-alter this shirt. I don't know but if it were me I would not resale an altered shirt without noting on the tag that it was altered. The person selling it to them probably didn't tell them they altered it. I mean you can look in it and tell it was altered.  It was $5.99

These two shirts were just quirky to me. Something I thought I needed in my wardrobe. The red one is from Notations and it was $4.99 the Orange/peachy one is from Ruby Rd. and it was $3.99

These last two were just some cute fall like shirts I bought for when I do stuff with my monkey's school.
The pink one is from Erica it was $4.99, the Blue one is from Croft & Barrows it was $4.99

Thanks for checking out my new wardrobe additions! Please come back soon! I plan on adding a ton more stuff! Just trying to get it all organized and ready to be posted!!!!!

THANKS!!!!
