Annie's Real Aged Cheddar Microwave Cup Review

So if you recall I received the Annie's Real Aged Cheddar Microwave Mac and Cheese in my #MamaVoxBox. I was so excited to try this. The product had a lot of great ingredients and it sounded SOOO tasty. This company has a variety of different Organic products offered to the consumer. From pizzas, to pastas, to snacks to dressings and a lot more! I've been checking out the Annie's Site looking at all the different things I would love to try. Just might look for them! Back to the review (teehee, I tend to ramble) Here is what the product looks like:

This stuff has so much potential! I read the directions, filled cup to line and stirred. The white powdery stuff, like in all micro macs, didn't want to really mix. It just stayed clumpy but I kept stirring. I cooked on high for 2 minutes. The noodles weren't even cooked. I had to cook longer. All micros are different and mine is digital but it's probably 10 or so years old. When it came out it had this gel consistency. Was a turn off but I went on and added the powdered mix. I wish it was a cream/liquid like Velveeta but not everything can be Velveeta. ;) I stirred and stirred. Took several minutes to get it mixed in where there were no clumps. I tasted it hot. Not really to my liking. *This is my opinion* When I read Real Aged Cheddar I expected a more tangy cheddar taste. It is good DO NOT get me wrong, just met a little under my expectations. I cooked it for my daughter anyways, I gave it to her and she LOVED it. So it's 4 year old approved! If I were eating it I would add some tuna probably to give it a little more flavor. I would and will recommend this to anyone who asks. This is a quick on the go snack/meal. You could probably even take it camping or put in a emergency kit. I know it says to microwave but I think if you were able to boil water. ( A pot, water and a fire source) you should be able to make this. Just pour the boiling water in the bowl and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Here are some pictures of after it was cooked. You can kind of see the stringy-ness.

I hope ya'll enjoyed my review! I'm still new to this but I think I have found my new hobby! Blogging. I love this too much. Thx!!!

* I was sent this product from Influenster for testing purposes only, I am not being paid to review this*

*ELF Order* Buy $20 get a free Fall Mystery Bag.

*STOP!!! Wait!!!! if you have placed an order and you qualified for the free Mystery bag and you do not want to know whats in it ( i think they are all the same but might not be) DO not look any further! *

Hey ya'll! I'm back again! So in all seriousness, it seems as if I am buying a ton of stuff and really I'm not. I had no makeup. I mean noooooo makeup! Shame on me! but yeah what I did have I had forever and it really needed to be thrown out so I did and I'm starting all over buying makeup. I'm not in any way trying to boast or rub anything in anyone's faces about all this stuff I buy. Really it's not much out of pocket as I am a very thrifty bargain shopper. I usually just buy when I personally think its a good deal. I really would love some feedback. I have no clue if I am reaching anyone here. I'm very new to blogging but I know like anything else you have to do it for a while to get the hang of it. I have a lot of posts planned. Like some crafting posts, some thrifty shopping posts and some daily life posts. I just have to plan those out a little more than these makeup order posts.

So last week E.L.F Cosmetics had a sale where if you bought $20 worth of product you qualified (with code) for a Fall Product Mystery Bag. Well I'm a sucker for mysteries. Here is what I bought out of pocket. My total was $21.00 before shipping. I opted to do the next shipping price up...normal is 6.95, next one up was 9.95. I will say DO NOT waste that extra $3. With the 6.95, say I order on a Thursday (which I always do) My items (so far) have all shipped the next day, Friday. Then the tracking will say Wed, then on Wed it will say Thurs, then Thursday it will say Friday and I will get the package that Friday. So 7 day processing and shipping, not bad really. So I thought maybe I would pay the 9.95 and it would get her quicker...not really. I ordered on a Wed. It shipped Thursday. Tracking said Wed. Then it changed to Thursday soooo 7 day shipping and processing...Not worth the extra $3. Back to topic. My full Total was $30.95

First off is:

Honestly, I never knew to wash my brushes. Yeah. I can hear the scoffing now. I never used brushes for anything wet so I never thought to wash them. :) $3

Next:

I have the clear primer. I love it! So I thought I would grab some of the other ones. This one is radiant glow. It really is shimmery. The swatch is of it just slightly spread out on my hand, not blended in. It blends out to no color at all just shimmers. $6

And so on:

I have never owned anything "baked" I actually chuckled when I heard people talking about Baked makeup. I was like "What???" SO I broke down and bought some. I do LOVE them. They are so smooth and look great. $3 each. Below I swatched. The purple isnt as bright as it looks but Im sure adding multiple coats or wet it (like people suggested) will make it look better.

Last of my actual purchase:

I had found the blue one at Dollar Tree and I went online and saw they had more colors. I love how easy they go on. So smooth. I'm in love with the Ivory one. Looks awesome on my face. These were $3 each.

*Fall Mystery Bag!!!!*

YAHHHH!!!
Anyways.

These were the first things I laid my eyes on!

These awesome nail files! In snakeskin nonetheless! I do not recall seeing these on the site. So I do not know how much they are worth. But Awesome! So gonna use these.

NeXt Up: (was that annoying? the letters there...something just came over me and I thought I would do that)

This was neat. I haven't meddled with Bronzers and Blushes and I will say I will have to learn ways to use them. I love the little Kabuki brush. I cannot find this on the site either...but I would guess $3

Batter up!:

All over color stick in Spotlight. Well...I don't know. It's awful bright. Could it be used as a highlighter?

$1

...:

I did receive 2 of these. Well with a 3 month shelf life there was no way I would use 2 so I found it a new loving home. It will be dearly missed but it was for the best. $3 It goes on sooo smooth and dark. Love it!

Next:

This gloss was awful sticky. But I can deal. It's sorta bright. Would look good by itself. $3

This is a Mineral Eyeshadow. This also appears to be a great highlighter. I love it regardless. $3

Last on:

I love love love this shimmery Nail polish! It looks pink then you turn it and it has like a purple glitter. BUT it looks like it will be clear when put on. So maybe over the top of something it would look awesome.

$2

Well that's it folks! That's all I have for now. Thanks for reading!!!!!

*Bummer Items*

Have you ever been so excited to use a product and it didn't turn out the way you had hoped? OR something was wrong with it? ex. Lipstick broken, smooshed. etc. I have! Here are a couple of things that were no so fun. Remember in one of my previous posts that I received a brush set from ELF. (here is a reminder)

I finally opened this box and put the awesome brushes in the neat little bag that came with it. This morning while attempting a new makeup style I brought this little set out. I started putting on some powder all over my face when something kept scratching me. I thought maybe the bristles were stuck together. Nopers. Here is what I found.
See that little stick in the top right? yep! that was stuck in my brush. Like glued in. Its about as big as a toothpick in length and width. Took me a minute to pull it out but it also pulled out a lot of the hairs. Boo! Maybe I can find another use for it.

My next bummer is.....

This mascara had a lot of potential. BUT not on my lashes. It was really really wet. Anytime I blinked my lashes stuck together...all day. So bad that my eyes were irritated beyond all get out. BOO! I really wanted to like this one. I have another one. I believe its a lengthening one. That one is Ama-ZING. I love that one. So I don't know what is the difference in the formulas but I cannot wear this one. BUT I did find it a loving new home. One where it can be used without making the owner hurt. :)

Thanks ya'll!

*Product Testing* BelVita Soft Baked Biscuits

Here is my review of the BelVita Soft Baked Biscuit that I received in my Influenster #MamaVoxBox. The flavor is Oats & Chocolate.

To start off this cookie looked delish! It took everything in me to wait till this morning to open and eat this. To me and this is my opinion the ingredients do not make it any different than the Quaker Soft cookies. But that is JUST ME. I assumed this would be a tad healthier but I mean I cannot complain. It was free...for me to try and give my opinion. So here is what the cookie looked like (sorry my camera battery was charging so I had to use my cheap replacement phone's camera...2 mpx. Ugg)

So first off you can tell it has oatmeal in it. It smells wonderful! It is a pretty good size cookie, this was the largest piece in my package that I could show the texture.  There were huge hunks of chocolate. Bitter chocolate. Not really dark chocolate taste but it had more of a unsweetened baking chocolate taste. The cookie is very soft and crumbly. Mine came broken in about 100 pieces but still I could crumble it by just poking it. The oatmeal taste is very strong. I do like the taste though. I do not like the chocolate taste. So I took those pieces out and just ate the rest. When they say biscuit, I automatically thought of how good it would taste with a nice coffee. BUT you couldn't dip it in the coffee, it would definitely fall apart. It's not a good breakfast item in my eyes. Even on the go it would be hard to eat. Unless you get one that is not as crumbly as mine. I am a old school breakfast person. I like my eggs and sausage. I did give it a try this morning. I was not fulfilled. I needed something else. This just was not filling at all to me. I do suggest trying this product. It might work for you. The BelVita biscuits come in 2 flavors that I can see, Mixed Berry and the Oats and Chocolate. I think they would be good for a mid day quick reviving snack, not by itself at breakfast though. Here is a link to the website so you can check out more info on this product and other products.  BelVita Website

To end this review, I will say yes I do recommend you to at least try the product. If you are weary of buying the full box of the product, see if you can find a coupon or get a free sample from somewhere.

Here is what the Influenster card said to describe this product:

belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits : $3.69

Baked with hearty whole grains, belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits are delicious, nutritious and give you satisfying morning energy to start your day off right.

I agree it does taste good, not THAT nutritious but I guess it could be partly, it wasn't as satisfying as my normal breakfast and it did not give me the energy that I hoped it would. Great for snack, not breakfast.

Thanks Ya'll for reading my review. I hope I did ok and gave you a good idea of this product. You can always ask me anything below if I left something out about this product.

*Disclaimer*
I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster. I am not being paid to do this. All these thoughts are my own :)

Dollar Tree Mini Haul. :P

Hey ya'll! How have ya been? I've been busy busy busy! Cleaning mostly. So every other Thursday is my shopping day. Shopping day include groceries, anything we need for the house and a few wants if we have the extra. Well if you read my other post, we had a lot of our stuff stolen from our car a couple of weeks back and Jeremy's cds were in there. So this week Hastings was having a good sale on used cds. B2G1 to be specific. That's a good deal being that cds can be expensive. So we went and well....they had not one of the cds on his list, used. 13.99 is a bit much to pay per cd replacing 16 cds. We did find 2 that were on the cheaper side. Ugg. So we will try Amazon now. Just wanted to share that. So Thursday I went to Dollar Tree, Goodwill and Micheals. Micheals had and AWESOME SALE. I might make a post just for that. Lots of paper and boxes. This post was for my dollar tree haul and some swatches. It's late right now and I am tired. I just got the chance to throw this together really quick before bed. We went to goodwill today too I'll post more about that tommorrow. I'll take some pics of the things I got. I love Goodwill. Anyways BACK to my Dollar Tree Haul....ramble ramble ramble.

This was a brand I have never seen in any of the DTs I've been to lately. It was Aziza. Seemed Legit. So I bought some. :)

I separated and swatched each one. They were ok. Some were better than others.

Nashville was BY FAR the most pigmented.

I found this ELF Eyeliner and Shadow Stick. I got so excited that I bought 2. I love blue. BUT I was kinda disappointed in this color. I really loved the blue on the stick. It was way darker than I really wanted. I wanted a brighter blue. Not baby blue but a true blue color. Oh well. Ill still wear it.

I've seen these before but they were by the register. They had a big area of them at this store I went to. I love marble colors. I have the Marble palette from ELF that I love. These were ok. Just like before some better than others.

I found these lipglosses that I haven't seen before. I love LAFFY TAFFY. In fact I picked up 10 cherry sparkle flavored laffy taffy candy bars. :P

I grabbed a few more ELF Lip Colors. There isnt much in the package so I much rather pay $1 instead of $3 every time I run out. :) I love these colors...swatches to follow.

This thing was pretty neat. A new DT find. A concealer stick with a brush and sharpener.

This was a Milani color. This was the first DT I have seen these at. I've seen people on youtube with them but I just found them. The only color that wouldn't transform me to a clown.

*Random Alert* Random pic of 3 other things with no category. :) The Donna Michelle is a foundation. The first time I find a light foundation and its really really thin. I've shaken it, squished it around, nada still thin. Bummer. I don't want to throw it away but what can I do? Any thought? leave a comment. The udder cream is amazing. It's been forever since I've seen Udder Cream. AND a set of nails. I love quirky nails for last minute fixer uppers.

A glittery eyeliner. Something about this drew me to it. I had to have it. I think it would look a lot better over the top of another liner. A NYC lip color. I've never really messed with lip colors before because I could never find one that didn't make me a clown. I'm slowly finding some. :)

I've seen these a few times. Finally decided to buy some. The brand is Profusion. They are numbered. Of course all the numbers werent there but I'll try to collect them all. Like Pokemon. And again...some are better than others.

THANKS ya'll for reading my blog! My daughter insisted that this animal make a cameo on my blog so here he/she is. Come back soon!! and subscribe please! I feel like I'm talking to myself.

E.L.F Buy $30 get Catwalk Collection Free

So I am kinda going backwards because I wanted to get the Beauty Bundle out there first. This is an order I placed the same day I ordered the beauty bundle. Received them both on the same day. ELF uses FedEx Smartpost to ship their products and the past couple of orders have taken 5-6 days to get to me. The beauty bundle is said to take up to 8 days I believe. So yeah. I'm kinda building up my makeup stash and buying stuff for others. I love the sales that Elf has. BUT don't get used to just all makeup posts. These posts are just some I had in the making. I have a collective thrifting post coming. A post showing off some of my favorite deals and some of my bummers. I might even do a post on my fave thrift store if they will let me take pics. So here we go again. As always if you want swatches or reviews just let me know. I might even make a separate page just for swatches...

My $30 order:

This is the Essential Signature bag ($8) I love this bag. It fits perfect in my purse and holds ALOT!. We recently had our car broken into when we were on vacation and they stole everything. My laptop, my kindle fire, Jeremy's Vita, our gps and a ton of other things INCLUDING my awesome Benefit Makeup Bag (and all the makeup I had in it) So I am trying to replace it with something equally as awesome. This just might do it. (We have since had all the electronics returned thank goodness)

This is the Beauty Must Haves 48 Piece Eyeshadow Book in Night. ($6) It's perfect size for a purse or a travel bag. It has a magnetic closure and I've dropped it and nothing has broken. The colors show up really great on my skin.

This is the Beauty Book - Smoky Look ($5) I haven't tried this yet so I can not really give a review on it BUT I mean come on. It tells and shows you how to do a smoky look AND provides you with everything you need to do a basic smokey eye. It has a Day/Night Highlight, A Day/Night Base, A Day/Night Contour, A eyelid primer, a shadow wand and a eyeliner pencil.

The last part of what I actually paid for.

The left pic is of the 2 piece Spf 15 Mineral Foundation set in Light. Comes with the foundation powder and the brush. ($5) and the pic on the right is of 2 Gem Brushes - Blue is a blending eye brush ($4) , Pink is a Foundation Brush ($5). (See these foundation brushes are new to me. I've always just used my fingers or a sponge) and a Waterproof Eyeliner crayon in Champagne ($3)

When buying all that I received the Catwalk Collection FREE.
What all came with it:

Beauty School Essential 6 Piece Brush Set: $10
Studio High Definition Powder in Translucent: $6
Studio Pout Perfecter: $3 (you can get it at DT for $1- keep reading Ill show you)
Studio Makeup Remover Pen: $3
Studio Makeup Mist and Set $3
Studio HD Blush in Diva $3
Essential Travel Mirror $1
Essential Shine Eraser $1

So I mean to me it was a good deal. I did get 2 sets of the brushes though. I might throw one in my travel bag so it's always there.

*ADDING THIS IN LAST MINUTE*

I have found tons of ELF products at Dollar Tree. Here are some that I picked up on my last trip. Remember Everything is $1.

Matte Lip colors Coral and Praline Both $1

SEE! The Pout Perfecter in Glow $1
The eyelash curlers.....$1
And 2 Concealer Brushes each...wait for it...$1!!!! (I always pick up the studio brushes if I see them, the essential brushes fall apart, or maybe its just me)

SO there is my last Haul. I guess you could call it that. Hope you enjoyed!
